This report summarises the progress and challenges faced by the English, French and Dutch-speaking Caribbean Member States and Associate Members1 in the implementation of the San José Charter on the rights of older persons in Latin America and the Caribbean and the Madrid International Plan of Action on Ageing (MIPAA) of 2002. As part of the third cycle of review and appraisal of the implementation of this Plan at the regional level, this report is based on replies received from States and other stakeholders to a questionnaire sent by the ECLAC subregional headquarters for the Caribbean on 13 January 2017.
